Mary and Tom Watts

In June of 2005, a good friend encouraged Tom to patent the Dog Dish that he and Mary had developed for their dog Jedidiah, affectionately known as “Jed”.

Tom embarked on the patent process, and a formal patent application was filed on October 13, 2005. Then, on April 24, 2007, US Pat. No. 7,207,291 was issued.

Eat Slower® Pet Dishes, LLC became an official entity on September 18, 2007. The business was launched in April of 2008.
