"Marley & Me, life and love with the world’s worst dog” is a wonderful book by John Grogan, full of many humorous moments and a couple sad ones.  Marley & Me was just released as a movie and is already a 'box office hit'! Marley grew up to be a big yellow lab with a zest for life.  I recommend this book to anyone who loves dogs.  Marley lost his life to his second encounter with Dog Bloat.  It’s the saddest moment in a very funny book.

If your dog is among the 25 breeds that are at risk for Dog Bloat, get informed and talk to your Veterinarian about establishing a program of prevention.  Not all cases of Dog Bloat can be prevented short of a surgical procedure that your Veterinarian might recommend for a dog he/she feels is at severe risk.
